Tennis superstars strike an ace for young carers - Carers Trust Solihull
tennis super stars strike an ace for young carers

The tennis superstars at the West Warwickshire Sports Complex in Solihull recently held a Gary Barlow tribute evening. It was a lively and successful event, with the club raising lots of money for their own activities, and creating a night filled with highlights. However, the work they did for young carers is our highlight of the evening.

The club has generously donated all the money from their Tombola stall to Solihull Young Carers—an amount totalling a fantastic £481.50! That wasn’t enough for the superstars of West Warwickshire Sports Complex; they then added an offer to help volunteer and host sports camps and sports days for our young carers during the summer holidays of 2025.

On behalf of all of our team and especially our young carers, a BIG thank you to the tennis superstars!

Here they are, presenting the cheque to our volunteer fundraiser, Peter Masters.
