You're a good egg! Young Carer Easter donations - Carers Trust Solihull

The famous Renewal Church on Lode Lane, have been long time supporters of not only Carers Trust Solihull but Solihull as a whole. Through their Helping Hands initiative, the fabulous people of Renewal have helping thousands of Solihull residents in a huge variety of ways. Helping Hands has helped provide baby basics to support struggling new mothers and families; their food bank has provided much needed food parcels for almost 30 years; made sure children have a toy to open on Christmas day, and so much more for their community – including their Annual Easter Egg Appeal!

They have Supported Solihull Young Carers with a large donation of eggs for the last 3 years. Pictured right is Emily with the 70 eggs they donated to us this year. So, from all of our Young Carers – a BIG thank you to Emily and her colleagues at Renewal.

For the last 3 years Sam Mitchell, pictured right, the Community Champion at Asda Chelmsley Wood, has been supporting Solihull Young Carers with her kind donations of Easter Eggs, Christmas Selection Boxes and snacks and drinks for our Coach Trips.

Asda Community Champions, working closely with the independent Asda Foundation charity, are the lifelines to so many communities and people in need of support. Together, the Champions and the Foundation have given millions of pounds and support to great causes up and down the country. Supporting grassroots community groups, mental health and wellbeing for people young and old, and so much more!

On behalf of all our young carers, we want to send a BIG thank you to Sam for all she does for us and her local community. Thank you, Sam!
