AlphaBioLabs donates £500 to young carers

We at Carers Trust Solihull are incredibly grateful to AlphaBiolabs for their generous £500 donation!

It’s wonderful to know that our work is recognised and supported by companies like AlphaBiolabs, through their “Giving Back” campaign.

Rachel Davenport, Director at AlphaBiolabs, said: “As a testing laboratory working with local authorities across the UK, we have seen first-hand the challenges facing vulnerable children, young people and families, including those who provide unpaid care for friends or loved ones. We’re proud to support the vital work of Carers Trust Solihull with this latest Giving Back donation.”

Gina Ward, Young Carers Team Manager at Carers Trust Solihull, said: “We’d like to thank Jade [Sweeney] at Solihull Children’s Service and AlphaBiolabs for this kind donation. As an independent charity, donations like these mean we can continue to provide quality support, meeting the needs of young carers from a variety of backgrounds throughout Solihull.”

This donation will make a real difference in the lives of the unpaid carers we support, allowing us to continue providing vital services like respite activities, emotional support, and practical advice. We’re especially thankful to Jade Sweeney at Solihull Children’s Service for nominating us. This donation is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and allows us to continue making a positive impact in the lives of carers and their loved ones in Solihull.
