Raising awareness with BBC Radio WM - Carers Trust Solihull

Pauline Manby, Carers Trust Solihull partnerships manager, spoke with Merisha Stevenson of BBC Radio WM on 17th November 2023.

They discussed the needs of unpaid carers in Solihull and what work Carers Trust Solihull does to support and help carers. Pauline raised awareness for the Carers Rights Day, as well as our own annual Charity Ball that goes to awarding unpaid carers of Solihull.

Additionally, Pauline also shared information about our first Christmas Tree campaign: Light up a Carers Christmas. We are asking those who can to donate £15  and with their donation they get a bauble on our digital tree. You can then add a message and/or image to your bauble for all to see. Show your support for carers, dedicate it to a loved one, or share some seasonal fun with you and your pets. Every penny raised goes to carers.
