Carers Rights Day is an annual national event with the aim of empowering unpaid carers by providing them with information and resources, to help them with their caring roles more effectively. The day also aims to highlight the importance of unpaid carers, not just within their families and caring commitments but also in society as a whole.

We know that having the right information and advice can make a big difference in your caring role. Therefore to celebrate Carers Rights day 2023 we will be holding a Carers Information Event on Wednesday 22nd November. We will be bringing together local organisations, professionals and representatives from Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, to provide information, advice and to answer questions.

With winter approaching and the ongoing worry with the cost of living crisis, the event will address what support is available to people in Solihull.
