Sitting Service Volunteers (Face to Face) - Carers Trust Solihull
sitting service volunteer FI

Life as an unpaid carer can be lonely. It can often feel isolating, and carers have very little time to undertake recreational activities or make new friends.

As a Sitting Service Volunteer, you will enable individuals with a caring responsibility to take some time away from their caring role, the volunteer will be spending time with the looked after person whilst their carer is away.

You will likely to be having conversations with the cared for, making a light snack/cup of tea, watching TV together, playing cards/jigsaw etc.

You will need to be available between the hours of 9 to 5pm once a week for up to 3 hours.
