Donations Support Young Carers at Blackwell - Carers Trust Solihull

For the 9th year running, we ran a BBQ at our Blackwell Residential event for Young Carers aged 8 to 11.

The Blackwell event was, again, funded by a wonderful donation of £2,000 from our great friends at Rotary St Alphege.

They always come along to the BBQ and the children love having them there.

For the last 2 years the food, drink and BBQ materials have kindly been donated by Morrisons Solihull and this has enabled us to put on a SUPER spread for all the children, volunteers and supporters.

Morrisons have also helped us with Christmas party food, selection boxes and Easter Eggs…

So a big thank you to Jayne Longstaff – the Community Champion at Morrisons Solihull.
