We are hiring
Respite opportunities are essential for unpaid carers, whether they are adults or children, as they provide a much-needed break from the demands of caregiving. Caring for a loved one, whether it’s an elderly parent, a disabled spouse, or a sibling with special needs, can be both physically and emotionally exhausting. Without regular breaks, carers risk burnout and a decline in their own health and wellbeing.
Respite care offers these individuals the chance to rest, recharge, and attend to their personal needs, allowing them to return to their caregiving duties with renewed energy and focus. This support is crucial for maintaining the well-being of the carer, ensuring they can continue to provide quality care over the long term. At Carers Trust Solihull we offer a variety of activities, training and respite opportunities for carers of all ages to support carers in their caring role.
We have some exciting vacancies now open to join our team to facilitate and attend activities for carers organised by our events and activities coordinators.
